I have actually now seen this movie, and I won't give anything away except that I have now seen the most awesome T-Rex death ever imagined. Also, Sisto is a great Batman.

And yes, I've signed up for a real copy :) Shill on!

We're going to get daily reminders on this movie? Really? Daily?

I entered into a pact with Jorge the marketing guy. A pact, sir. Had you any honor in your veins, you would know why I must post each day 'til the 26th on New Frontier.

You've sold your soul, sir.

Yes. For a preview copy of the movie, which I shall review here.

Can you really be fair in your review, since WB has bought you?

Well, you will have to read to find out. But I'm going to have to suggest you buy a copy of the DVD to see if my review is accurate and fair.

If all the WB is doing is providing a free copy of the movie for review, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I think movie reviewers and music reviewers are provided with free copies of material all the time, in the hopes that someone will just pay attention to the product who otherwise might not spend the money or attention to watch it (although in this case, that just goes to show that the people at the WB don't know my brother very well). I'm not sure that getting a free copy of the movie instills any kind of obligation to write a positive review. Now, flying the reviewer out to LA to meet the producers, director, aritsts, or writer- that might be crossing the line a bit more (please cross the line, WB. Please, please, please cross the line)

As I understand it, that's pretty much par for the course with a lot of reviews these days so you can guarantee your reviewer will see the movie. I mean, Ebert's not been running out to the theater, but he's kept up.

I do not fancy myself a critic, but I do fancy myself a fan of DC Comics and New Frontier. It will be gravely disappointing is this movie is no good. But I'll also try to be as truthful as possible, just as I have been for Superman: Doomsday and other DCU animated projects.
