To some extent, I thought Morrison got far more screwed by Didio's overenthusiastic schilling of the book to the media and comic nerds. If he'd just let it go, it wouldn't have been as big of a deal.

I absolutely wanted more resolution, though. And I'm hoping that we'll see that when he returns.

ALSO, I'm hoping that Quitely will be better at conveying story. I always felt Daniel was kind of slapping down pictures that sort of conveyed story, but with Quitely... the man knows how to tell a story. Does that make sense? The Leaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04836241071795980225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-52305299874460563032009-03-11T20:20:00.000-05:002009-03-11T20:20:00.000-05:00Eh, Morrison's run on the Batman title hasn't exac...Eh, Morrison's run on the Batman title hasn't exactly been great. In fact, the "death" fiasco shows how even a "big gun" can misfire.

The art looks stunning though.NTThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03901133429286964552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-64244985315248345902009-03-11T15:33:00.000-05:002009-03-11T15:33:00.000-05:00I'm not positive, but I think the new series is in...I'm not positive, but I think the new series is in Morrison continuity. So bone up on your Black Glove, etc... DC seems to have realized they can get a lot more support for their mainline titles by getting the big guns on them rather than counting on name recognition and good will for the titles. And it looks like this time they're including an artist that has a cult following as well.

Should be fun.

Not sure if its Bruce or not, but I imagine they'll get that sorted by June.

And, Jason, you may ask all the questions you like. The Leaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04836241071795980225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-85814485956142162702009-03-11T15:08:00.000-05:002009-03-11T15:08:00.000-05:00What kind of questions can we ask? Of course, they can't exactly call it ASB&R. Still, I think the market could support 2 all-star versions of Batman, esp if each comes out every 3 months or so. Whatever, I'm psyched!

Oh, I'm sure you've been told, but "The Wire" is the best TV ever.
