This was one of the problems with the Valiant line as it all took place in the same universe but in two distinct times.

I did get to see all of the JLU episodes including the ones with Terry. I'm not sure if they need to connect Bruce and Terry so tightly but I did really enjoy the tying up of loose ends.Simon MacDonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14749383583517044214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-4108606311432189102008-07-04T00:42:00.000-05:002008-07-04T00:42:00.000-05:00It took me a few episodes to warm up to Batman Bey...It took me a few episodes to warm up to Batman Beyond when it first aired, but I grew to really like the show. As long as DC would place Batman Beyond on some Earth other than Earth 1 or 2, I'd be down with a Batman Beyond series. My concern would be the obvious continuity issues that could crop up with a defined future for the DCU of Earth 1.

It was just a really rich environment, and it would have been great to see it explored a bit more. Add in the possible fates for the various members of the rogues gallery and other heroes, AND near future tech, city scapes, etc...? Yup, they'd get my $3.00

I don't know if you ever saw the JLU episodes with Terry, but they were excellent. There was a time travel episode (part 2 of a two-parter) and an episode that was pretty much a capper to Batman Beyond. The Leaguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04836241071795980225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-34466934015039553242008-07-03T20:08:00.000-05:002008-07-03T20:08:00.000-05:00Yeah, this is such great news. I can't wait to catch up on some Batman Beyond that I missed out on.

I really wish DC would do a Batman Beyond comic, not a Johnny DC one but an in continuity book or Vertigo title.Simon MacDonaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14749383583517044214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5256317.post-67704987275394492082008-07-03T19:07:00.000-05:002008-07-03T19:07:00.000-05:00Sweet!
