iPhone

Dear Mr. Jobs,

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Today I got my hands on an iPhone. You know, Steve (can I call you Steve?), I was more than a little skeptical about the iPhone.

Now, you know... if you want to send me one...

Anyway, let's just say that I'll be your spokesmonkey for quite a while if one were to find it's way into my mailbox.

Your admiring friend,

The League

  1. Don't believe him, Mr. Jobs. He's a lyin' sneak, and the minute you give him an iPhone he'll just be laughing at you behind your back, telling everyone what a sucker and a rube you are. If you really wanna put an iPhone in the hands of a respected member of the community who show will show others "the iPhone way" by doing some good with it, then send one to:

  2. Having skimmed this site, I think the only "Leaguer" deserving on an iPhone is this RHPT fellow.

  4. What happened to your concerns about fingerprints and grease all over the screen?

  5. Oh, and yes, I do deserve an iPhone. Thanks, Mr. Jobs!

  6. I intentionally tried to leave fingerprints on the screen and couldn't see them while the phone was on. As per scratches... I don't think the guy who handed me his phone wanted me testing that out. I think it's still a little small, though.

  7. I've heard other people argue that it's too big (I guess coming from the perspective of having to carry it around in your pocket).

  8. Hmmm... well, those people do not have paws for hands and large jeans (which equal large pockets).

I am sure for Rami or Mandy, the iPhone must seems like a billboard. But to me, it's smaller than what I had in mind.

  10. Mr. The League, although you do not deserve and iPhone, I have decided to send you a brand new Apple IIe. Enjoy.

  11. Sweet. I can finally use that copy of "Zork" I have that I thought I'd never play again.

  13. If you hadn't had a kid, you'd still have spare income and could buy one.
