By the way, all of my computers have quicktime, even though I don't ever remember downloading it. Once again, Steve Jobs and his reverse engineered alien technologies have found a way to infiltrate my life...
Also, I think it's kind of appropriate to have a plotline for the sequel where Tony Stark has to deal with some of the fallout of having been a weapons manufacturer. If you're talking about trite in terms of having some vengeance driven genius taking on the role of our hero's nemesis- well, I guess I would say that's pretty much a major recurring theme of comic books. You can call it trite or traditional or whatever, but as long as they execute it well, I'm okay with it.

It it just me or does the plot seem trite? Granted, it's only snippets of the movie ...
Well, that's going to be the trick of a superhero movie franchise with a fairly good origin story. Once that's out of the way...
Anyhow, I have no idea. I know that was my gut reaction to the trailers to the first movie, and I enjoyed the heck out of that flick.
