Whip It! coming to a multiplex near YOU

Hey, Leaguers...

League-Pal Shauna is a screenwriter in Hollywood. Looks like her latest project is headed for a green light.

Read up on Whip It!

And they got Ellen Page from Juno. Kind of wild.

There's a chance they'll shoot in Austin, so I'm hoping I can catch up with Shauna (whom I have not seen since 2000) if she comes to town.

    I'm glad to see that Shauna decided to draw on her roller derby life experiences rather than her experiences working as a spokeswoman for NAMBLA.

    As you are the local chapter NAMBLA president, I'm surprised you aren't more disappointed in yet another delay in receiving a sympathetic portrayal of your favorite cause.

    Well, as our mascot and poster "boy", I think the League probably has the greatest power to bring some long overdue kudos to the organization. (by the way, your man-diapers have been laundered and are ready for pick-up for your big sleepover and lock in at the Gymboree on Friday night)
