I totally share your trepidation on this, just from the slo-mo stuff, I doubt we're going to see Rorshach eating cold beans, which is pretty crucial to the character. Although it would be cool if the Halloween costume came with a can of beans and a can of hairspray.
I think very similar concerns were voiced 20 years ago regarding the then upcoming release of Tim Burton's Batman, particularly on the licensing front. - JMD
I recall how SICK I was of the Bat-mania by the end of summer. I had gone from being one of two or three Batman nuts, wearing the Batsignal one way or another once a week or so, to refusing to wear it lest I be lumped in with the other folks sporting a trend.
And I'm sure it informs my opinion of how comic movies are marketed and sold to this day.

"Mono-e-mono" was a joke, only in that I actually checked the spelling and STILL got it wrong. I knew it looked wrong, but...
